Walker and Son adds Grove

UK crane rental and haulage company Walker and Son Hauliers has added an 80 tonne Grove GMK4080-1 All Terrain crane to its fleet.

The GMK4080-1 has a 51 metre, six section boom and an 8.7 to 15 metre bi-fold swingaway is also available for extra reach. The carrier has all wheel steer, 8x6 drive and Grove’s Megatrak independent suspension system.

Richard Walker, managing director of Walker and Son, said: “It doesn’t matter if we’re erecting steel beams, installing turbines in power stations or pulling rods on oil wells, we know we have a Grove crane with the right size and combination of features to get in, do the job quickly and get moving to the next site.”

We know the cranes well, and trust that they will live up to their reputation.”
