Snorkel adds dealer in Brazil

Aerial lift manufacturer Snorkel has appointed a new dealer in Brazil. Sao Paolo-based Movimenttar Equipamentos Industriais is a subsidiary of Comingersoll one of Brazil’s leading distributors of construction and industrial equipment. Founded in December 2011, Movimenttar is the group’s dedicated company in Brazil for the supply of aerial lifts and materials handling equipment. As well as Snorkel, it also represents the Doosan brand of fork lift trucks.

Marcos Sampaio, director deneral of Movimenttar, said: "We established Movimenttar to focus on the evolving market for materials handling equipment and aerial lifts. Snorkel is the ideal partner for us because it produces machines that are very simple to service and repair. There is no complexity for complexity’s sake just solid, durable lifts that have a long working life and provide a good return on investment.”

Mike Falcon, Snorkel’s regional sales manager for Latin America, said: “Movimenttar has a clear vision for growth, a lot of expertise in aerial lifts and a great track record for customer service. Snorkel continues to expand in Latin America and is working hard to appoint more partners and distributors across the continent. We look for partners with a strong sales and marketing plan, but also with very high service and product support capabilities.”

Other Snorkel partners in Latin America include SimmaRent in Chile, LMA Industrial in Argentina and Proing in Colombia.
