Socage back in Bahrain

Italian truck and spider lift manufacturer Socage has re-entered the Bahrain market after an absence of six years.

The company’s last deal in the country was a shipment of 20 kits sold for mounting on locally sourced trucks. The company has now sold a 20 metre DA320 to the rental division of Adliya Contracting Est which supplies equipment and services for construction and national utility companies.

The Socage DA320

Socage said: “This is an important deal for us not only for the reopening of the Bahrain market to the group, but also for the important customers that Adliya Contracting has like the Bahrain Defence Force, Ministry of the Interior, Electricity & Water Authority, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Works, National Guards of Bahrain and many others.”

The new DA320, which will join Adiya’s rental fleet, is equipped with the company’s patented Easylift single lever auto stabilisation/outrigger system and offers up to 9.5 metres of outreach with an unrestricted platform capacity of 225 kg.
