Double jeopardy

Sent in by a reader in Russia – two men working on overhead cables, but their access equipment and methods leave a lot to be desired.

First of all we have to believe that none of these cables are live power lines…and are just communication lines, if not the access equipment is very much a secondary risk!

Two men in a bucket - powered access - but not as we know it

The two men clearly like the idea of powered access, however an excavator bucket for two is just not it. This occurred when ice and snow was still present so as if the risks were not high enough the presence of ice on the bucket adds to the chances of a slip and fall.
