New Bobcat dealer appointed

Norwest Plant has been appointed Bobcat dealer for the North West of England and North Wales.

The territory covers Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside (including the Wirral), Cheshire, Anglesey, North Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.

Haydock, Merseyside, based Norwest is part of the Construction Equipment Division of Northern Ireland-based Ballyvesey Holdings. Under the new Bobcat agreement, Norwest Plant is now responsible for the complete range of Bobcat equipment including telehandlers and a comprehensive selection of Bobcat attachments.

Norwest dealer principal, Matthew Ritchie said: “We are aiming to raise the profile for the Bobcat brand to where it should be in the areas we cover. We are based at impressive facilities in Haydock with extensive yard, workshop and office facilities and fast links to customers via the north-west motorway and major roads network. We are also investing in new sales personnel to provide real focus on markets, particularly agricultural, construction and rental. We have identified the people we need for these positions and they will be joining the company soon.”
