Lifterz opens in Plymouth

UK access rental and training company Lifterz has opened a powered access rental operation in Plymouth.

The Yorkshire based company is treating the operation as a satellite depot based at the premises of sister company Lifterz Cranes.

Lifterz says that the decision was taken as soon as it was revealed that the Access Link member for the south west, Light Hire, had been acquired by AFI Uplift.

The new depot has been unanimously accepted as the Access Link representative for the South West region and the first aerial lifts are already in place. The location will also offer IPAF training.

Laura Indans has been recruited to develop the region for Lifterz and will work within the team controlled by Benjamin Bowers who said: “The depot will benefit from sharing with Cranes, it has low overheads and is expected to become profitable quite quickly.”

Lifterz is part of LSG Industrials, which rebranded an existing crane business as Lifterz Cranes early this year.
