Orders up 5% at CTE

Italian truck and spider lift manufacturer CTE has reported a five percent increase in order intake for the first half of 2012.

While specific figures are lacking it suggests that total order intake was in the region of €20 million.

It says that new products helped spur the growth, including the new ZED 21 JH and ZED 20.2 truck mounted articulated work platforms, both of which feature 300kg platform capacity.

Other strong contributions are said to come from sales of larger B-Lift trucks especially in the Middle East, while sales of Genie self-propelled platforms and CTE spider lifts helped keep domestic sales up in what is a tough market.

CTE said: “The signs of rapid recovery of the market in the last period is increasingly strengthening our perseverance in finding the right solutions for the global market.”
