City Lifting’s Challenger arrives

London based City Lifting has taken delivery of a Terex Challenger 3180 All Terrain crane. The unit arrived in the UK just in time for Vertikal Days and is now busy at work in the city.

Managing director, Trevor Jepson said: “This addition to our fleet has the advantage of a EuroMot3B/TIER 4i compliant engine and meets the latest emissions requirements of central London.”

“The other benefit of this model is its 50 metre full power boom on a three axle carrier which means many jobs can be reached without having to spend the time fitting a fly jib. If we do need more reach the 16 metre swingaway can be carried on board at less than 15.5 tonnes an axle.”
