CTE 26 for Berne

The Swiss canton of Berne has taken delivery of a new 26 metre CTE ZED26J truck mounted lift for street lighting and other duties.

The new platform is installed on a two axle MAN 4X4 12 tonne TGM13250 right hand drive truck and is equipped with in board levelling jacks which can be set from the cab, a toolbox with shutters and a high pressure water line for tunnel work. The unit has 14 metres of outreach and 230 kg unrestricted platform capacity.

Berne's new CTE ZED26J is mounted on a right hand drive 4x4 MAN truck

The machine was purchased though the Swiss distributor for Switzerland Rosenbauer. The main applications of this unit will be, street light maintenance, tunnel maintenance including ventilation fans and lightning on the A16 road between Biel and Tavannes as well as clearing and installing of safety-nets in the Berner Jura Region along with street sign and tree work.
