Heli opens new facilities
Distributor and rental company Heli officially opened its new four hectare facilities in Wetteren, Belgium last Friday 14th September. The event was celebrated with an open day and party which included supplier equipment demonstrations from Maeda mini cranes, Snorkel aerial lifts, Bluelift spider lifts and Glaslift manipulators, as well as guided tours around the impressive new premises.

Heli's new facilities in Wetteren, Belgium cover four hectares
The new facility brings together all the Heli group companies and more than 80 employees in three warehouses totaling 6,000 square metres and 1,650 square metres of office space.

Visitors enjoying the open day
As well as the more than adequate space (with room for further growth) the purpose-built has been designed around the optimal flow and routing of machines and vehicles through the site.

The four hectare site has more than enough room for future expansion
Group companies at Wetteren now include Heli, Heli-Trans, Heli-Equipment and Heli-Cat. The main Heli company deals with the sales and maintenance of aerial platforms, telehandlers, mini cranes and scaffolding as well as the 850 machine rental fleet.

Part of the new, fully equipped workshops
Heli-Trans is responsible for equipment transport covering Benelux and the North of France with a fleet of 20 trucks. Heli-Equipment offers the rental and sales of professional equipment for safe working on height, such as ladders and scaffolding, and fall protection systems. And finally Heli-Cat deals with the rental and sales of earthmoving equipment, such as skid-steer loaders, dumpers and excavators.

Snorkel and Ormig equipment on display
As well as the site in Belgium, Heli also has a division in Pontoise, France, which manages the rental and sales of aerial platforms and mini cranes for Northern France and the Paris region. Next year the company celebrates its 30th anniversary.
