CTE looks for further rationalisation
Italian truck mount and spider lift manufacturer CTE has commenced talks over further cut backs at its Bertinoro plant that builds larger truck mounted lifts.
The move is the second phase of the company’s rationalisation plans which were launched in January of this year. The facility which was acquired with the Bizzocchi takeover is said to employ 33.

A meeting was held with staff at the plant on Monday to review progress and discuss alternatives. The company said that a negative trend for orders of larger machines necessitated the review, which might ultimately result in closure by mid next year although the company has said that it will review further alternatives over the next few weeks.
