Fire platform for Portugal

CTE’s Portuguese partner, fire-fighting manufacturer Jacinto, has delivered a 37 metre B-Fire 370 fire fighting platform to the fire department in the municipality of Cascais, near Lisbon in Portugal.

The B370 is equipped with an emergency ladder, 450kg platform capacity and is fitted with both foam and water pumps. The company has said its main feature is its high operating speeds which are crucial in emergencies.

The machine will be used by the Fire-fighters of Alcabideche which is located south west of Lisbon. The B370 is the second machine of this type to be sold in Portugal following the delivery of a 45 metre B-Fire 450 back in 2008.
