Outreach takes delivery of 70 metre Palfinger

UK based Outreach Access taken delivery of the largest truck mounted access platform based in Scotland.

The 70 metre Palfinger Platforms WT700 has been delivered to the Outreach facility in Falkirk and is the latest stage of its £1.25 million investment in three new access platforms – a 45 metre, 53 metre and the 70 metre.

Gary Potts, Outreach's managing director sales and marketing, who took the 70 metre machine for a test drive to get a bird’s eye view of Scotland’s only oil refinery at nearby Grangemouth, said: “Our experience over the past few years in this sector indicates there is real customer demand to hire specialist machines based in Scotland.”

The Outreach Access Division now claims to be Scotland’s largest independent hirer of truck mounted access equipment.
