59 PB scissor lifts for Beyer

German crane and access rental company Beyer Mietservice has taken delivery of a large number electric scissor lifts from PB Lifttechnik.

The order consists of 59 units from PB’s ECo series, with platform heights ranging from 24 to 39ft (10 to 14 metres working height). The smallest lifts in the order are the 24ft/810mm wide S100-8EC and its wider cousin the S100-12EC, other models include the 33ft/1.2 metre wide S12-12EC and the 39ft/1.2 metre wide S140-12EC. The new lifts were delivered and handed over by PB’s chief executive Dieter Pawlowski at Beyer’s headquarters in Roth - Heckenhof.

Bayer Mietservice director Dieter Beyer said: “The emission-free, finely controllable electric drive on these units allows the user to regulate its movement with incredible precision. The tight turning radius and compact size also saves time and cost, while the direct electric drive significantly extends battery life.”

The new scissor lifts


Founded in 1986 Beyer Mietservice initially concentrated on local rentals. In 2002 the company began moved further afield and invested in specialised equipment. It purchased ifs first mini crane, a Maeda, in 2005 and its range now includes aerial work platforms, telescopic handlers and mini cranes as well as general rental equipment.
