Titan goes to MacAllisters

The acquisitive MacAllister family of Indianapolis has acquired the assets of Michigan based access rental company Titan Equipment, via its Michigan (Cat) Rental business – the company also owns the Indiana Caterpillar dealerships.

Titan was established in 2005 and is based near Grand Rapids, with locations in Byron Center, Lansing, Midland, Traverse City and Wixom, Michigan.

President Chris MacAllister said: “We have targeted the expansion of our rental presence across the state of Michigan as top priority. The acquisition of Titan increases locations from one to six. Titan will benefit from Cat machines, software, systems and an established Cat customer base. Michigan (Rental) customers gain instant access to five additional facilities, an excellent organisation with a great reputation and a high level of customer service. The strategic fit is excellent.”
