Child crushed by crane
A four-year-old girl was run over by a crane at a construction site in Guduvancherry to the South West of Chennai, India on Monday.
The girl, a daughter of construction workers, who were living in a tent on the site, was playing near to the mobile crane when the operator started it up for the day.
Unable to see her from the cab, he ran over her as he pulled away to start work on the factory that is currently under construction on the site. The girl died on the spot, the crane operator then fled the scene and was later apprehended by the police, charged with negligent driving and remanded in custody.
Children who are living in a tent on the site???
I can't imagine that this is possible in Europe, where are the responsibles??
