New commercial director for Nationwide

UK powered access company Nationwide Platforms has appointed Rob Owen as commercial director, he also joins the company's executive board.

Owen is now responsible for UK marketing and communications, sales support and commercial management functions. Having previously held director roles with Harsco Infrastructure and Field Systems Designs as well as working for facilities services company Interserve.

Owen said: “In my new role I’ll be working with my team to build upon past work and put us in an even stronger position to attain the goals. I’m incredibly pleased to have joined such a vibrant, determined and successful organisation and look forward to working with my new colleagues to achieve even greater things in the future.”

In addition Kate Liggins also joiins the executive board having been appointed executive director of HR. She was previously the UK head of HR at Nationwide.
