First LTM 1040-2.1 for Lebanon

Beirut crane rental and haulage company Transport Houmani has taken delivery of the first 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain crane in Lebanon.

The two-axle crane is equipped with a four section 35 metre main boom, offering 7.4 tonnes capacity when fully extended and 1.1 tonnes at its 31 metres maximum radius.

Houmani taking delivery of the first LTM 1040-2.1 in Lebanon

The company said: “With its compact dimensions, the 40 tonner is perfect for a very wide range of jobs in the narrow streets of Beirut. Moreover its high load capacity makes it incredibly flexible to use with either full or part ballast.”

Established in 1964 Transport Houmani provides a crane rental and heavy goods haulage service throughout Lebanon. The company is now planning to purchase a 100 tonne LTM 1100-4.2 to add to its fleet of 17 cranes – all of which are Liebherr.
