More Kone cranes for TCV
Finnish overhead crane and lifting equipment specialist Konecranes has received a repeat order from Spanish stevedoring company TCV for four rubber tyred gantry cranes.
The cranes can stack containers up to five high and offer a maximum capacity of 50 tonnes. All four have been equipped with Konecranes’ latest technology including its active load control, diesel fuel saver, auto-steering and crane management systems. TCV’s fifth order with Konecranes, scheduled for delivery at the end of 2013, will increase its fleet to 23.
Kim Salvén, Konecranes sales director Europe, said: “Our cooperation with TCV started back in 2004 when the first Konecranes RTGs were ordered and delivered. This fifth order is proof of our commitment, our ability to take true lifetime responsibility for our cranes, and our ability to manage delivery projects successfully.”
