Ahern to auction equipment

Las Vegas based Ahern Rentals will auction several hundred used aerial lifts and telehandlers from its rental fleet on Saturday May 18th.

The sale will include boom lifts, scissor lifts mast type fork trucks and telehandlers, with viewing possible on Friday at 1800 West Bonanza Road, Las Vegas NV 89106. Online bidding will also be possible.

Ahern remains in Chapter 11 as it waits to hear the decision of the bankruptcy judge on whether to accept the plan of reorganisation put forward by the current owners and management or one proposed by a group of note holders. The business is now generating reasonable profits again as well as cash.
