Stopping the serial defaulters
A meeting to explore the interest in setting up a UK crane and access industry credit circle will be held at Vertikal Days.
The industry has talked for some time about the need for a communication network to help warn each other about professional bad debtors. With some encouragement and support from the Vertikal Press, Top service has taken on the challenge and is prepared to organise a new credit circle.
See 2011 editorial on the subject of credit control.
The open meeting for any UK and Irish visitors who are interested in learning more about forming/joining an industry credit circle to exchange information on serial bad payers, will be hosted by Top Service and the P&A Partnership.
The initial meeting is purely to establish what interest there is in setting up a new circle and in attending a regular credit circle meeting. It will be held at 11:00 on the 26th June in the Newton Stand, and will include an opportunity to ask questions about credit circles. The meeting is open to all interested parties.
Top Service managing director Emma Miller said: “The credit circles we are involved in for other industries are an excellent source of information and I am so pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to the plant, crane and access industry.”
“Credit circles are attended with a view to discuss customers who you may be having problems with, the result being that other members of the circle are forewarned of potential bad payers and can also offer an insight into their own dealings with the subjects discussed.”
If you would like to attend or would like further information please contact Emma Miller on +44 (0)1527 503991 or email
