Four Vallas for Sunbelt

Sunbelt Rentals, the US arm of Ashtead, has ordered four new 2.5 tonne Valla 25E cranes for its fleet. Valla has also sold one of its 40 tonne 400E cranes to Kreiling in Germany.

The compact 25Es can pick & carry their maximum capacity and yet have a gross vehicle weight of just 2,300kg. The units have an overall length of 2.2 metres, an overall width of 950mm and an overall height of 1.8 metres.

The 40 tonne 400E battery powered pick & carry crane has been ordered by German heavy assembly and haulage company Kreiling and features a fully removable counterweight and a special four section boom that can take 7.4 tonnes to a point seven metres out from the front bumper, while offering a maximum under hook height of 10 metres at which it can lift 16 tonnes.
