A Peru first for Liebherr

Peruvian port terminal operator Terminales Portuarios Eurandinos has placed an order for a ship to shore crane and two rubber tyre gantry cranes with Liebherr Container Cranes. Destined for the port of Paita the cranes will be Liebherr’s first ship to shore and tuber tyre gantry cranes to be delivered to Peru.

The 55 tonne Super Post Panamax ship to shore crane has an outreach of 51 metres, a back reach of 17 metres and a span of 30 metres. The rubber tyre gantry cranes have a one over five configuration and can stack up to seven containers wide. Both the gantry cranes feature the company’s eight rope reeving system which eliminates sway in hoist, trolley, long travel and skew directions.
