Multitel to launch 23.5m

Multitel and its UK dealer Access Industries will launch the new 23.5 metre MX235 truck mount at this year’s Vertikal Days, later this month.

The new machine is based on the popular 25 metre MX250 but features an end/mid cage mounted platform, rather than the pedestal mount on the 250. The top boom is also slightly shorter in order to keep the machine’s overall length down to a respectable 6.9 metres.

The Multitel MX235 is under seven metres long

The MX235 has the same aluminium alloy sub-frame with fixed straight down front outriggers and H- frame out and down rear outriggers which can also be used in a straight down configuration so that the machine can be set up within the overall width of the vehicle. In this configuration it is said to still offer up to 8.8 metres of working outreach.

With mid rail mounting flat platform bottom the MX250 will appeal to roofers

The new lift also has a fully variable outreach system based on the outrigger setting and the weight in the platform. With up to 11.5 metres of working outreach and a clear platform bottom, the Multitel MX235 will be ideal for roofing and tree work, among other applications.
Platform rotation is 120 degrees - 60 each way and includes a single button automatic centring facility to save time trying to line up the boom for stowing.

Vertikal Days 2013 will be held at Haydock Park on June 26th and 27th online registration and badge printing is available right up until the end of the event.
