JCB announces new CEO
JCB has announced that Graeme MacDonald will succeed Alan Blake as chief executive, following his retirement at the end of the year.
Blake, 63, joined JCB in 1989 and became chief executive in 2010 after holding a number of senior positions in the company. He will remain as a senior advisor and board member.

Graeme Macdonald is succeeding Alan Blake as chief executive officer of JCB who is to retire at the end of the year.
Graeme Macdonald, 45, became chief executive designate from 1st June. following a variety of senior roles during his 16 years at JCB and was latterly the company’s chief operating officer.
He was previously managing director of the company’s backhoe loader business unit, based at the headquarters in Rocester, UK and also held the position of president of JCB Inc in Savannah, Georgia.
