Palfinger to expand maritime network

Palfinger Marine plans to expand its sales network with new offices in Brazil, the USA and Singapore.

The move follows its acquisition and incorporation of the Bergen Group Dreggen in 2012 and Ned-Deck Marine in 2010 into Palfinger Marine. The new offices will be located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Houston, Texas and Singapore.

The company has said the new offices will allow it to have a presence in the growth markets as well as establish and maintain close relations with existing and potential customers. It added that the expansion of its production facility in Poland and the strengthening of existing partnerships in Korea and Brazil reflected its positive order situation.

Palfinger Marine's stand at the Nor-Shipping trade show in Olso earlier this month

The company also exhibited under the Palfinger Marine branding for the first time earlier this month the Nor-Shipping trade show in Olso, Norway.

Karl Oberreiter, head of Palfinger Maritime said: “The first ever presentation of our new company structure under the Palfinger Marine brand at Nor-Shipping was a complete success.
