ISO 9001 for HLS

UK distributor Height Lift & Shift – HLS – has achieved accreditation to ISO 9001:2008, the International Standard for Quality Management Systems.

HLS distributes Bluelift spider lifts, RAM truck mounted lifts and PB Lifttechnik specialist scissor lifts. It has also launched the Vizstark range of low level platforms, including the Hugo mast type lift.

The company said: “Our accreditation to the ISO 9001:2008 standard will give extra comfort to our customers, assuring them that we truly are a customer-focused organisation, and that we have a culture of continuous improvement.Continuous improvement is at the heart of our business, helping us to continually re-evaluate our products and services and ensure they are meeting the ever-changing demands of our customers.”

“The process of registration to the standard was lengthy, involving multiple internal, and external audits to thoroughly test our systems and processes and ensure they are fit for purpose.”
