Smiths adds Skyjack

UK based rental company Smiths Equipment has taken delivery of 14 Skyjack scissor lifts as part of a £250,000 investment.

The order consists of eight 19ft 3219’s, two 32ft 4632’s, two narrow 26ft 3226’s and two 26ft 4626 electric scissor lifts. The company said the investment will be used to regenerate and extend its access rental fleet adding to its small equipment and small tools.

Joint director at Smiths Equipment Thomas Smith said: “With all the new laws and health and safety regulations with regards to working at height there has been an increase in demand for well maintained and easy to use machines.”
Smiths Equipment operates from 10 locations in the North West of England and runs an extensive powered access fleet of over 300 machines, in addition to its general rental business.
