Taylor Crane adds Kamag K-25s
Taylor Crane and Rigging - based in Coffeyville, Kansas – has strengthened its transport capabilities with the addition of 32 new Scheuerle/Kamag K-25 axle lines.
The full service industrial mover and craning services company which was formed in 1975, specialises in plant relocations and machine installations across North America. The Kamag K25 can be coupled with third party products, which makes it easy to integrate in existing fleets.
"Having robust and versatile vehicles at our disposal is the most important thing as we have to rely 100 percent on our equipment,” said Jim C. Taylor Jr president of TCR. "These vehicles will expand our ability to perform heavy haulage services throughout the United States. It gives us versatility in configurations and allows us to move the trailer into sections in order to utilise it on more than one job at a time."
TCR currently hauls 250 ton transformers and power plant equipment and this purchase will eliminate the need to rent from further afield. The company decided to buy 22 axle lines of pulled trailers H (regular) and SL (split types). Additionally – especially for transports on industrial sites – TCR aquired four PB (power booster) axle lines and six SP (self propelled) axle lines.
