First Multitel for Clements

UK based rental company Clements Plant & Tool has taken delivery of its first 20 metre Multitel MJ 201 truck mounted platform.

The Multitel MJ 210 is a conventional forward mounted telescopic platform with a telescopic articulated jib - an unusual feature for a platform on a 3.5 tonne chassis. It offers up to 12.6 metres of outreach and has a maximum platform capacity of 225kg with a full 180 degrees of rotation. The unit has an aluminium alloy sub-frame with permanently in-line rear outriggers and H-frame front outriggers, which can also be deployed in the straight down position. The front outriggers can also be extended on just one side or on both sides, with the machines working area and platform capacity automatically adjusted to match.

Clements has taken delivery of its first Multitel MJ 201 truck mounted platform

Jim Longstaff, managing director of Clements, said: “We spent a long time looking at all the options available and we believe the selection of platforms we have chosen will facilitate the development of our truck mounted business. We believe the MJ 201 will become the customer’s platform of choice in the 3.5 tonne GVM category.”

This delivery is the first of a number of truck mounted lifts which have been ordered by Clements over the past few months.
