First Palfinger for County Lifting

UK based lifting and transport specialist County Lifting has taken delivery of its first Palfinger loader crane with a PK 42002 SH High Performance.

Mounted on the rear of a Scania R series 6x2 chassis, which can be used in conjunction with a draw bar trailer, the PK 42002 has a load moment of 41.1 tonne/metres and a maximum lifting capacity of 15 tonnes. It offers a maximum reach of 31.2 metres when fitted with its jib and its Power Link Plus linkage provides constant lifting power over the entire range of articulation.

Other features include its reverse linkage boom which offers a 15 degree angle above horizontal, continuous 360 degree slew and the S-HPLS system which reduces working speeds at high load moments to increase lifting power.

The company, which has used Fassi products for the last 12 years, said: “The Palfinger crane was chosen for its nation-wide backup service from T H White, which places a service engineer within every county throughout the UK. A further Palfinger PK 62002 crane has been ordered ready for delivery later this year which brings a total of five lorry loader cranes between 42 tonne/metres and 99 tonne/metres, all of which are fitted to Scania vehicles which run alongside our crane hire fleet.”
