Zarges opens UK training centre
German based ladder and mobile tower manufacturer Zarges has launched a new PASMA and ladder training centre at its UK office in Milton Keynes.
The centre will provide PASMA and Ladder Association approved training courses ensuring delegates receive adequate training covering all applicable regulations, codes of practice and safe working practices along with hands-on practical skills. Zarges UK’s product manager Alistair Twigg will head the training having been a member of the PASMA technical committee since 2004.
Twigg said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us, we are often asked by members of the public, as well as other stakeholders in the industry, for advice on all aspects of ladders and working at height. We can now offer this advice through a variety of specific training courses and additional we can travel to any part of the UK to offer training onsite.”
Zarges has also recently CE marked its vertical fixed ladder and shaft ladder systems to comply with the Construction Products Regulation 2011 which ensures all construction products intended for permanent incorporation in buildings and civil engineering works are fit for purpose.
The company claims that not only does its systems meet these requirements but that its modular designs offer advantages including the ability to quickly offer individual solutions using a series of ‘off-the-shelf’ parts, making the quotation, delivery and installation of the systems a very efficient and cost effective solution.
