Riding the rails

Spotted by a reader in Germany, at a facility in Bonn, a man using a small mast lift to unload lumber

Not only is he using the little JLG 1230ES mast type lift for a job it was not designed for, but due to having filled the platform he rides the guardrails rather than walk alongside.

One has to wonder if he then elevated the machine before unloading it? While the stunt caught by the photographer is unlikely to result in death should he fall, the principles place it within our Death Wish series.
