AFI opens Midlands training centre
UK rental company AFI has opened an IPAF and PASMA training centre in West Bromwich, just outside of Birmingham.
The new Midlands training centre will provide working at height courses for up to 70 delegates with its indoor and outdoor practical training areas and four training rooms. Sessions will be delivered by AFI employed trainers with courses including working at height, health & safety, SMSTS and SSSTS site safety, IOSH, NEBOSH and NRSWA.
AFI chief operating officer David McNicholas said: “Our Wakefield open course centre has been the blueprint for this new centre and for our other open course centres at London East and Liverpool. We have a large and very loyal customer base in the Midlands and we want to ensure that they receive the very best training facilities and services. Our substantial investment in this new centre will mean that it will become a centre of training excellence for AFI.”
