Terex STS cranes for Indonesia
New container terminal company Meratus Line has placed an order for four Terex ship to shore cranes for its first terminal in Indonesia.
The 45 tonne ship to shore cranes, which offer a waterside reach of 42 metres, will be operated by subsidiary company Mitra Sentosa Abadi at Meratus Line’s terminal in Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. Scheduled for delivery towards the end of 2014 the cranes will be manufactured at Terex Port Solutions’ facility in Xiamen, China.
The company has also placed an order for six electric powered rubber-tyred gantry cranes. Three will join the four ship to shore cranes in Jakarta with other three destined for a terminal in Port of Surabaya.

Terex Port Solutions meets our needs both in terms of its products and its all-round service throughout the port – where the individual elements are compatible with each other and can be easily extended.”
