50 Skyjacks for AFI Rent

German access rental company AFI Rent has expanded its fleet with the delivery of 50 Skyjack electric slab scissor lifts.

The order is made up of a number of 19ft SJIII 3219 and 26ft SJIII 4626 scissor lifts, with the latter offering 590kg of platform capacity. Deliveries to the Hamburg based rental company have already started.

AFI Rent’s managing director Günter Aust said: “The Skyjack scissor lifts are thoughtfully designed, require low-maintenance and are easy to repair. They have very good control and handling characteristics, high performance parameters and have a visually and aesthetically appealing design.”

Speaking at Skyjack’s recent open day to launch its new German facility in Witten – Skyjack opens two facilities – Aust also expressed an interest in purchasing a number of Skyjack articulated and straight booms.
