Sennebogen launches equilibrium handlers
German crane and material handling equipment manufacturer Sennebogen has added two new equilibrium handlers.
Following the launch of the 8130 EQ at Bauma, it has now added the smaller 8100 EQ and the larger 8160 EQ. The company says that the equilibrium system has the lowest energy and operating costs offering savings up to 75 percent compared to conventional solutions.

Savings of up to 75 percent can be achieved with equilibrium handlers compared with conventional diesel driven material handlers
The first equilibrium machine to be delivered – the 8130 EQ with a maximum reach of 27 metres and maximum 10 tonne capacity - has been working for the past few weeks at a German paper mill covering a 2,300 square metre work area loading and sorting wood for further processing.
With a safe working load of 4.5 tonnes and a reach of 23 metres, the new 8100 EQ is ideal for use in a scrapyard for loading the shredder, scrap press or sorting and stacking material covering areas up to 1,700 square metres.
The new 8160 EQ - powered by a 160kW electric motor - has either 27 or 30 metres of reach, a 5.5 tonne safe working load and can cover almost 3,000 square metres.

With each work movement the forces are held in balance in accordance with the classic lever principle.
Many variations are available including stationary undercarriages, crawler tracks or rail mounted solutions and pontoon set up. The machines can also be delivered with diesel engines as an option.
