Bronto delivers to Nationwide

UK based Nationwide Platforms has taken delivery of the 10 new Bronto Skylift truck mounted platforms it ordered earlier this year – see: 10 Brontos for Nationwide. The order comprises seven 38 metre S38XDTs, two 50 metre S5OXDT-Js and a 70 metre S70XDT.

All 10 units have been equipped with a number of additional features including Bronto’s B-SRS Safety Rail, a lanyard attachment rail allowing operators and engineers to safely access the truck deck for maintenance and inspection, a high-definition camera system and a telematics system, enabling diagnostics and performance data analysis.

In order to cater to the broadcasting and utilities maintenance markets, the company ordered the units with earth grounding straps, media lighting frames and broadcast camera cages. Round ground pads with easy access stowage have also been installed to reduce manual handling risks.
