Berlin-based BTB Logistik has added a new Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 to its fleet.

Chief executive Andreas Malischewski visited Liebherr’s plant in Ehingen for the handover of the new crane which will replace a 500 tonne LTM 1500-8.1. The new crane is largely planned for wind power applications, in particular for installing wind towers and smaller plants.

"However it goes without saying that the LTM 1750-9.1 will also be used in refineries and chemical plants as well as for transshipments in ports. We are also intending to use the new mobile crane for bridge construction on motorways in Brandenburg," said Malischewski.
