Compact Wacker arrives in UK

British construction company Tompkins has taken delivery of the first Wacker Neuson TH625 compact telehandler to be delivered in the UK.

Supplied by the Wacker Neuson’s dealer SM Plant Sales, the TH625 has a lift height of 5.7 metres and a lifting capacity of 2.5 tonnes. Measuring just 1.96 metres wide by 1.98 metres high, it has a turning circle of 3.6 metres and an overall weight of 4,730kg. The machine also has the company’s Smart Handling System and fully glazed cab installed as standard. The TH625 was introduced earlier this year along with the 1.2 tonne TH412 compact model.

Tompkins director Andy Tompkins said: “We had it in our minds to obtain a compact telehandler at some point after hiring one last year, and the work we now have in Stratford provided the perfect opportunity to proceed.”
