Palfinger appoints German service partner

Palfinger has appointed Alba Braunschweig as its service partner for recycling and waste industries in Germany.

From the start of next year Alba will be responsible for the aftermarket services of Palfinger’s loader cranes, hook and skip loaders, truck mounted forklifts and timber and recycling cranes. It will also provide diagnosis, repair and maintenance as well as carry out new installations and any retrofitting.

Based in Brunswick, German, Alba Braunschweig is a subsidiary of international recycling and environmental services conglomerate - the Alba Group, which has more than 200 subsidiaries throughout the world. Alba Braunschweig has nearly 250 employees and 130 waste management vehicles.

Alba Braunschweig director Matthias Fricke, said: “Our workshop and the expertise of our staff in dealing with commercial vehicle systems provides the optimum environment for the service partnership with Palfinger.”
