Dave Bratton to retire

Dave Bratton of Briggs Equipment is retiring at the end of this year, Mike Winemiller will replace him as chief executive.

Bratton handed over most of his day to day duties at Briggs last year when Winemiller was appointed president of Briggs International and he took over as chief executive of Sammons Enterprises – Briggs parent company.

Winemiller joined Briggs as a regional manager in 1997, becoming chief operating officer in 2006 president of Briggs US operations in 2007 and president from January this year.
