Lifterz opens third depot
UK based access rental and training company Lifterz is opening its third location in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
The new branch expands the Yorkshire based company southwards from its current two locations West Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Paul Charlton has been appointed as manager of the new depot, he joins the company from the Spiderlift Company where he has worked since his recent return from nearly 10 years in Spain. He has worked with Lifterz chairman Malcolm Bowers before, when the two were employed at Access Rental Group in the late eighties and early nineties.

Bowers said: “Paul was very successful in running our East Midlands in those days and there is no reason why he should not continue in the same vein.
The new location will be something of a special products depot for us, in that we will be investing in spider lifts and spider cranes. We will be transferring our two Maeda spider cranes from our sister cranes company in Plymouth to the new depot.”
Congratulations Paul. Got a Kettle yet?

pls
Crane Man1, whilst it might be true that we are moving some spider cranes up North, where we think there are better opportunities for them, you should note that we are also adding further mobile cranes to the Plymouth depot, with significant investment going into another 2 which were delivered down to Plymouth 2 days ago. We remain fully committed to Plymouth and plan to invest further in that depot. I suggest if you want to tell a story, tell the whole truth.
