New VP sales for Terex Cranes
Terex Cranes has appointed Steve Headden as vice president of sales for North America, reporting to Dan Slater general manager, Terex Cranes North America.
The appointment is part of the company’s move towards a regional structure announced last year, with single point of contact for the manufacturer’s full range - rather than factory orientated contacts.
In his new role Headden will lead the North American sales team, including the internal sales operation, and be responsible for distributor development, while working closely with manufacturing locations and customer support teams.

Headden joins the crane team from Genie, where he was responsible for used equipment sales. He joined the company in 1999 as a regional sales manager, having spent over nine years with American Equipment Company.
“We have come a long way since we started this transition process towards a region based organization,” said Slater. “Steve’s vast experience and customer-centred philosophy will contribute tremendously towards adding value to our customer-focused organisation.”
Headden added: “As Terex Cranes transitions from a factory-centred approach to a customer-centred approach, it gives us an opportunity to be closer to customers, to develop deeper relationships, and with this, to contribute to their businesses’ success more than ever.”
