Ramirent more than doubles profits

Ramirent the Finnish based rental company has reported third quarter revenues of €276 million, up 22 percent on 2004. Net profit before tax more than doubled from €15.9 to €33 million.

Capital expenditure at the group, which operates one of the largest aerial lift fleets in Europe, was over €90 million, €76 million of which was spent on equipment.

Erkki Norvio, chief executive is set to retire at the end of next month, with Kari Kallio, set to replace him.
