Kurt Ospeth to leave Bautas

Kurt Ospeth, managing director of Bautas, Norway’s largest rental company, owned by Ramirent, is leaving at the end of December to take up a post with Norwegian construction group, BackeGruppen..

Ospeth has led Bautas since it was set up as a separate rental business within Veidekke ASA, in 1997. Veideke was Norway’s largest construction company at the time.

Ramirent acquired Bautas from Veideke in August 2002, and kept Ospeth on to run, what was effectively Ramirent Norway.
