New international sales director for Safeworks

SafeWorks has appointed Edwin Holtkamp as international director of sales, responsible for the Power Climber Wind, Power Climber and Spider brands.

He will be based at SafeWorks’ international office in Belgium and will report directly to chief executive Scott Farrell, with responsibility for all direct sales, dealers, partners, and sales agents outside of the Americas.

Holtkamp joins SafeWorks from General Electric, where he held various sales management roles, most recently as sales director for ‘intelligent platforms’. In this role he was responsible for the business development team selling remote monitoring systems used in the wind energy and oil/gas industries. Prior to GE he was responsible for sales of software solutions for Rockwell Automation. He is fluent in English, German, Dutch and French.
