Political Death Wish

Spotted in Rome, Italy, yesterday Beppe Grillo founder of the political party Five Star Movement - MS5 - spoke to a massive crowd on Saturday in the Circus Maxima, Rome.

Beppe Grillo and two camera men high above the crowds

In order to be seen he spoke from the platform of a large truck mounted lift. Happily he was wearing a full body harness and short lanyard, which is excellent to see. The two cameramen in the platform with him however, had no safety equipment at all. So in the event that the boom might have dropped or a catapult effect been caused the camera men would have left the scene.

The platform was controlled from the superstructure mounted cab.

A good application, but definitely one for our Death Wish series.
