New VP for Kalmar Americas
Port and reach stacker manufacturer Kalmar has appointed Greg Hewitt as executive vice present for the Americas
Hewitt was previously division director at Pilot Flying J, a leading operator of truck stops/travel centres in the USA. Prior to that he was chief executive of Dover/ Heil Trailers International for four years and before that vice president for Komatsu North America and executive vice president of Jacobsen – the golf cart division of Textron.
Kalmar president Olli Isotalo, said: “Greg Hewitt will be focusing on the development of our sales, service and customer interfaces in the Americas, with the target to increase Kalmar's market share in the region. We are delighted to welcome him to the team."

Hewitt added: "Kalmar is the leading provider of cargo handling solutions and services to ports, terminals, distribution centres and heavy industry, with great potential to continue to grow in North but especially in South America. I am very excited to leverage my experience and join a team of great professionals to serve our customers and provide them the best value and loyalty."
Hewitt replaces Lennart Brelin who will leave the company at the end of the year to pursue other interests. Brelin has worked for the company for 26 years, having spent the last five years as executive vice president, Americas.
