New Chinese hoists from Alimak

Alimak Hek will launch two new construction hoists at Bauma China later this month, the Alimak SC 65/32 and SC 45/30.

The new hoists have been designed and engineered in Sweden, but will be built in China and aimed initially at emerging markets.

The new hoists will be available in single or dual car configuration with payloads
of 2,000 kg per car, and car sizes 1.5 x 3.2 metres or 1.4 x 3.0 metres. The hoists are available with either Direct-On-Line or Frequency Control drive, via a helical gearbox system. The new design uses high-strength materials to provide low energy consumption, improved running efficiency and less wear.

Pepe Olguin head of business area construction said: “We are big believers in keeping the total cost of ownership, as low as possible. With the new construction hoist developments, we are aiming to widen our product offerings in the BRIC markets.”
